In June 2008 I visited the exhibition LEPANTO – Cy Twombly at the Museo del Prado in Madrid (Spain). The sight of his works sparked feelings that I experienced the first time in this form when viewing a work of art and which are still present today. Shortly after returning to Vienna I created “Mystery of Cy”, the main work of the cycle which was awarded by Prof. Dr. Leopold (www.leopoldmuseum.org). In the night after the vernissage to this award I started to create “Protected by Cy”. R.I.P. Cy Twombly
